Metamorphosis is a guided system that corrects images based on a user's response to a series of previews. Metamorphosis uses a revolutionary color theory technology that extracts your personal preference, and corrects an image in the most accurate, and efficient means possible, eliminating opposing, or counterproductive transformations that can lead to image degradation. You are not required to have any color knowledge or experience of any kind. Metamorphosis corrects dynamic range, brightness, color, and saturation, all in about 30 seconds. The process is started by clicking the Metamorphosis "Butterfly" button. The interaction is simple, quick, and straightforward. The results are amazing. Metamorphosis is not a simplistic, histogram averaging system used in auto corrections features. We all know from experience that these systems just don't work consistently. Furthermore, don't be fooled into thinking that Metamorphosis is a useless comparison rating system that tries to disguise guesswork as science. At it's core, Metamorphosis utilizes revolutionary new color theory concepts and principles that we've developed to define, direct, and streamline the color correction process. In essence, here's how Metamorphosis performs it's magic. A series of image preview pairs are displayed. With each pair, you select the image you like the best. Then, your feedback is evaluated and processed utilizing our exclusive and Patent Pending color theory technology which applies precise transformations. Over processing, which can jeopardize data integrity and cause unwanted color distortion, is eliminated. Zoom buttons and scroll bars can be used to resize and reposition the image. A "Back" button moves in reverse order. The "Exit" button cancels the session, and returns you to the Ring-Around panel. Once the process is completed, Metamorphosis automatically switches to the Before & After panel and displays a comparison of the original image along side the corrected version. Any additional fine-tuning or adjustments can be tweaked in one percent increments using Test Strip's Task List, or you can continue making alterations by using any of Test Strip's features. Metamorphosis can not be used while prior Test Strip alterations are present. This restriction prevents current alterations from interfering with the efficiency of the process. If you want to retain your prior Test Strip alterations, first Apply the changes, and then reopen the image in Test Strip before running Metamorphosis. |
